Hello, Jas! How are you?

Has your doctor ever had you try stopping the Ritalin to see if your blood pressure goes down?

That would be the normal procedure, before resorting to a blood pressure medication.

I didn't find any interactions listed between them, but it's always best to double check such information to be sure. However, you're basically just using one to counteract the other.

What do you take the Ritalin to treat? Have you tried any alternative medications?

Metoprolol is classified by the FDA as a beta blocker that is most commonly used to treat high blood pressure and certain cardiac conditions. Its typical side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach pain, increased urination and hypotension.
