Interaction Amox & Sulfa

Does Amox TR-K Clv has any interaction with Sulfamethoxazole-TMP
My husband is taking the sulfamethoxazole and I am taking the Amox TR-K CLV
and by mistake my husband took one of my pills (amox) instead of his (Sulfa)

I didn't find any interactions or problems listed, but you should double check with your doctor or pharmacist. However, I can tell you that they are often prescribed together to treat severe infections, I was on both of them at once early last year.

They are both antibiotics and can cause similar types of side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea.

The biggest concern over him taking one by mistake is actually due to the possibility of him having an allergic reaction to it, so he should watch for any signs of itching, hives and swollen glands.
