Hi,
I have a gum infection because I have a bad tooth that needs to be pulled. The dentist prescribed me Amoxicillin 500 mg. I'm just wondering how long will it take for my gums to return back to normal. it was prescribed for 7 days. today 2 day.

After completing my 7 days of Amoxicillin 500 mg 4 tablets in each day, can i remove my teeth after 2 months, because right now i donot have insurance.

The general rule with antibiotics is that if they are working, there shouldn't be any worsening after taking them for a full 24 hours, and you should start to see improvement, after taking them for a full 3 days. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea.

However, how long you the teeth will last, there is no way to say for sure. You need to see a dentist and have this issue corrected, as soon as possible.

How many teeth are involved?
