Increasing Synthroid Dosage
UpdatedHave been taking 50 for several years--recently increased to 75--extreme fatigue--possible cause?

According to the MayoClinic, extreme fatigue is listed as a less common but serious side effect of Synthroid (levothyroxine); in which case it recommends letting your doctor know as soon as possible.

Have been taking 50 mcg for more than 10 years--do not remember this fatigue when I began--have an appt to check thyroid level in April--should I go back sooner? Thanks!
