Mine are labeled "sub hydrocodone acetate 5/325. They make me very sleepy and never used too. Makes it difficult to go to work on this medication, let alone drive. Thoughts?

Hello, Kris! How are you?

Yes, that means that your prescription was written for Norco and they substituted the generic Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen 5/325mgs.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

What are the markings on them? That is what would enable me to check the inactive ingredients for you. Can you please post back with this additional information? Thanks!
