To the original poster, it depends on who the manufacturer was, since they do not all use the same inactive ingredients. Can you please post back with more specific details, such as the markings that were on them, or the manufacturer's name? Thank you!
Loulou, and confused, the only thing that has changed is the allowable amount of Acetaminophen per dose, they can no longer exceed 325mgs per dose.
The overdose issue did not occur solely due to people taking Lorcet, it was due to people often combining it with other medications that also contained Acetaminophen/Tylenol. Taking more than 4,000mgs a day of it could result in liver damage, liver failure, and death.
Ref: NCBI Acetaminophen Toxicity
That reference link includes details on how they obtained their information, so you can see the information on cases, and why these changes were made.
If your doctor approves, you could take an additional regular dose Acetaminophen/Tylenol tablet with your 10/325 Lorcet dosage, but you should only do so with their approval, and make sure that you don't take anything else that contains Acetaminophen.
The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Is there anything I can help with?
I'm having the same problem!!! I don't understand why they keep messing with things that are working for people!!! First its the dye in them, now its the tylenol. If someone abused them yes l can see it hurting your liver. I would like to know how many cases they have as for their proof so they could change everyone's medicine? You find something that has worked for years and they change everything. First the color, then the size only to add more color? What's up with that??? Confused!!!
I was wondering if anyone knows What other pain medication has the same inactive ingredients as brand lorcet 10/650? I'm trying to find out if Vicodin or norco brand if either have the exact INACTIVE INGREDIENTS. Lorcet has been discontinued and its the only pain med that worked for me so I thought if I could figure out which other pain med has the closest inactive ingredients since all have the same active ingredients this might help. Thanks
