If I Took 1 Hydrocodone 2 Days Prior To My App. Will It Show

I weigh 200 pounds am supose te 8 hydrocod. A day but dont take them like i should i dont like med i took one hydrocod. 10 mg and a soma both by my dr 2 days before i went to dr he did a salava test and i was wondering if this will show up to show i have been taking them like i should be worried

The Hydrocodone is usually detectable in a saliva test for approximately 2 weeks, after last dosing, but if you aren't taking them as prescribed then your doctor may not detect as much of it as they should and that would be treated the same as a negative test.

If you don't want to take that many, then why are you even worried about it? Why not just be honest with your doctor and tell them that you don't take 8 a day?

No offense but you finished your medicine too soon and now you are worried that the Dr. will see no hydrocodone in your tests and suspect a drug problem.
If he starts out his interview with you with any comments like " how is the medicine working out for you" or anything like that where you may get the feeling he is checking out your response then trust me, he knows..The best thing you can do at this point is kinda ease your answer out VERY carefully that you had a few bad days over the weekends due to working outside or inside ( you get the drift )..Just tell him you tried to call the office to get an ok to take one or two extra but all you got was the answering service and you didn't want them bothering your doctor on a weekend and that you knew you were too take them only as prescribed but that you were in excrutiating pain..He may have mercy on you ONCE if you you are honest with him but trust me, he knows you you finished them early and they will discharge you from his care due too possible abuse or addiction. It's obvious that I've been down the road with the hydrocodone and I'm not bragging, but after 5 back surgeries I have come to learn that you have too discipline youself too take them in accordance or they will throw you out of there especially since they moved hydrocodone from a schedule III to a schedule II..With the way the records are kept with the DEA and State agencies they know every prescription you get of the hydrocodone or at least they do here in Texas..I hope this helped.
