My Dr says I have low potassium she gave me pot chloride m 20. When I take this drug, in the morning . By that afternoon I have a sensation like some one hit me in the heart and hot lava goes down my arms. And its like I am dying. It is really really scary .why is this happening. No one knows why.

Hello, Deborah! How are you?
Potassium can be very, very harsh on your stomach, so my guess is that it's ramping up your stomach acid production, since those same symptoms can occur with GERD.
Have you tried making sure not to take it on an empty stomach?
You also may want to ask about taking an antacid, while you're on it.
