Are there any numbers or letters on the backside of the pill as well? Based on your description, the closest match I'm finding is an oblong white pill with L | Z on one side (scored down the center) and M 1 on the back... This pill contains a combination of Lamivudine (150mg) + Zidovudine (300mg), used as an antiviral for treating HIV.

You never mentioned what shape the pill was (i.e. round, oblong, oval, etc?) - but another potential match that closely resembles your description is a white round pill with LN on one side and scored on the other. This pill reportedly comes from a pharmaceutical company by the name of laboratorios nutrimedi (LN) in Mexico and is believed to be the weight loss drug known as Phentermine. And since the tablet is foreign, this may be a good prospect.

Does anyone else recognize this pill as being something different?
