small ball shaped, clear gold (color of wesson cooking oil ) letters appear to be lL imprinted on it . found about 20 in an unmarked pill bottle in sons room

It's Benzonatate
Benzonatate (ben-ZOE-na-tate) is used to relieve coughs due to colds or influenza (flu). It is not to be used for chronic cough that occurs with smoking, asthma, or emphysema or when there is an unusually large amount of mucus or phlegm (pronounced flem) with the cough.

i have asthma and was prescribed this med. i had shortness of breath, tightening in the chest. and a hard time trying to catch my breath. don't think i'll keep taking this med. However, it did stop the cough. i'd rather breathe.
