Ic Gabapentin 300 Mg Bladder Side Effects (Page 7) (Top voted first)

I take 100 ic gabapentin 3 times/day for sciatica. Now I find that my bladder leaks about once a week which is unnerving. Has this been reported as a side effect?

Yes. Since on gabapenten I have had bladder leakage problems. I have had csections for childbirth and full hysterectomy. Never had leaks u til gab. But I will put up with it keep some pain control and restless leg control .

Just weaned off gaba totally 4 days ago, now experiencing frequent urination. Has anyone else had this happen?

I’ve been on Gabapentin 900 mgs/day for over 10 years, and I also have leakage problems. But I also have back problems. I’m not sure if it’s related or not, or if it is related to other medicines I take, or just old age. I’m 70 years old.

This happened to me too. I tapered off gabapentin and the problem went away. My pain doc never had heard of this particular side effect (bedwetting) but then another of his patients complained of it. He researched further and found that it is rare but real side effect. He is sharing this info with other docs.

I HAVE THE SAME ISSUES. I HAVE PAI, AND NEEDED TO SLEEP, IVE OTICED IT ALSO, AND I STOPPED FOR A FEW DAYS, AND IM NOT SURE WHATS WORSE THE BLADDER ISSUES /FEET ISSUES/MOODS OR THE PAIN. I WILL HAVE INSOMNIA IF I STOP NYONE ELSE PLEASE?? SO ITS A YES FOR ME TOO.
