Ive also had surgery in the past on my spine. Just want to continue the care that i had in texas. I also get steriod IV's every four months. Please help!

Due to the new regulations that were put in place this year, if you require medications like this for chronic pain on a long-term ongoing basis, then you'll need to see a pain management specialist. General practitioners and surgeons have been severely restricted in what they can prescribe, how long they can prescribe it, why they can prescribe it and how much they can prescribe.
It's also going to cause a problem if you're calling new doctors and asking them up front if they'll prescribe any particular medication. Doctors are taught to see that as drug seeking behavior. You really just need to set up an appointment and then let your medical records speak for themselves.
