I M Taking 200mcg Levothyroxine And 25mcg Liothyronine

I have hypothyroid and I've been taking levothyroxine for more than 5 years and I started liothyronine 25 mcg a week ago. I was hoping to feel all good by now but it hasn't happen. I'm 40 years old male. I'm tired of being tired, I can't focus on this like a normal person and feel very overwhelmed about this. It's been more than a year feel very tired, anxious, feel like my brain works only 25%. Does anyone have an advice, suggestion, or had any experience with this medications and how long would it take to feel better?

Sorry to hear about your situation. I for one think the medication should've been working by now if it was ever going to. 5 years is a very long time to wait for any kind of results in my opinion. However it seems to me like it would be a good idea to have your levels checked periodically to better determine if or how much the medication is actually helping the cause...

Might you also be deficient in any nutrients? (i.e. feeling tired, inability to focus could potentially be a sign of nutrient deficiency as well).
