I Am On Marvelon, Shifted To Diane35

Hi, i've been using marvelon for almost 4 years, last month i went to 8 drugstores but none of them have that brand(i am in china), its almost 7 days after i've finished my 21 pack marvelon and had my period so i need to take a new pack, i dont have a choice so i bought diane35, i am on my 16th day of taking it, i dont have any problems taking it, last 3 days i've felt my boobs are swelling,is it just because i may be having my period next week?usually i dont feel like this when i am in marvelon and i was about to have period,maybe sometimes but not often,is it normal?, i am scared if there will be some side effects of this Diane35, they said your boobs will grow bigger but hopefully NOT! lol i am thinking to take marvelon again after this diane pack and after my period if i the drugstores it...

Yes, it could be due to the switch, if the dosage of hormones in the Diane is slightly different from those in the Marvelon.

Any change to your breasts would only be temporary, while taking the Diane.

The FDA lists the typical side effects of oral contraceptives as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, irritability, weight gain and PMS-like symptoms.

Hi,thank you for your reply, i dont feel dizziness or anything, just my breast is so sensitive and feels so heavy,usually i do not feel bra,but now i need to because everytime i move its aching, like swollen. i just finished the one pack of marvelon,maybe few days i will have my period, i hope after that,this feeling on my breast will be gone... i am just little bit worried because i am not in my country so I couldn't ask my doctor, so i just posted here,maybe somebody can help..

I took marvelon last month and finished the 21 day pack... I had my menstruation during the 7 day pill free period... On the 8th day i started taking diane. I'm on my 3rd tab of my 1st pack of diane. I had intercourse on my 3rd tab... Am I protected from pregnancy?
