The hair loss can also be related to your levels not being optimal and many people have found it to slow, or stop if they were maintained at the optimum levels.
Improvements have also been shown by using T4/T3 drug combinations, rather than just synthetic T4 alone.

Some people have had success using Biotin supplements to improve hair loss, but you should check with your doctor, before adding anything new.
