I got some today for my stomach and it cost me $2.68.
Glycopyrrolate solution has to be compounded by a compounding pharmacy. The solution can be a bit pricey to make, but has been studied to be very effective for hyperhydrosis. Please contact Admix Compounding Pharmacy for more info.
I take glycopyrrol pills and this seems to help quite a bit. Does not completely fix the issue but I have noticed a huge difference. Also, this is a generic pill so the cost with insurance is only about $10 per month.
Hello. My name is Mary and I also have been using glycopyrrol for hyperhidrosis. My insurance will no longer cover it as of Sep. 2014. Can you tell me if there is an alternative Rx with the same great results? Thank you.
You can get them on pharmacy.ca and they're known as "avert" pills. It works most of the time for me, but you get a dry mouth and sometimes a foggy mind. It works best when you don't eat for 2 hours before or after taking it.
I suffer from hyperhidrosis as well & have for 25yrs!! I've tried Drysol & other liquid medicated solutions, but they don't help at ALL. My dermatologist put me on Glycopyrrolate 1mg, and it seemed to help the first month, but now it barely even helps! I suffer from hyperhidrosis in my auxillary area, feet, and hands, and of course my insurance thinks its not medically necessary-even though my hands drip with sweat on occasion. Is there ANYTHING I could use, because I've been paying $40 for each prescription?
