Hyper Calcimia

my mother is 82 years old and suffering from hyper calcimia.doctor has given wysolone 10mg with rantac300mg once after breakfast and 2.5 litre of water per day. due to excess vitamin d3 given for absorbtion of calciumt for treatment of bone fracture. is it right choice for treatment of hypercalcimia?

we live in india,nearer to kolkata,a metro city in west bengal province.we don't have any specialized hpspital
treating hyper calcaemia nearby.therefore we sought
your help for right treatment of my ailing mother.Trouble
first began when my mother fell in bathroom in nov2011.
Doctor treated vitamin d injection (6lacunit-9inj)followed by calcium tablets and paracetamol. in the month of feb2012 problem crops up with high naucia. urinal disorders and loss of memory.
midnight urination and sleepy state began to deteriorate of my mothers health and ultimately she was admitted
in apollo hospital.but unfortunately they could not find the actual reason of rising calcium in blood
mothers health. they puts in iv saline and monitoring
hp.At that time cacium lebel was 16.after treating her in icu for5 days her calcium level fell to 9 and then shifted
her in general bed.but within 2 days her calcium level began to rise and rose upto 12.3 level.we fade up with her treatment in hospital and released her against bond
and consulted with a doctor (md in medicine).he immediately stopped all medicine and advised her hydrotherapy with 2-2.5lt of water per day and one puff nasal spray of cacitonin(salmon) to control rising calcium level.but after one month her calcium level rose
upto 13.3.then he prescribed prednisolone for15 days to control active vitamin d level(350 now).now my request to you what will happen if prednisolone fails?is there any other options for the doctor and if any,how much time will take for recovery of my mother?kindly
