Hydroxyzine Pamoate Dosing Regimen

My Rx hydroxyzine pamoate says to take one capsule three times a day as needed. It's 50mg, does that mean I don't have to take it at a scheduled time? Please clear this up for me. Thank you.

That is correct, that means that while the dosing should be at least 8 hours apart, if you don't need one at the next schedule dosing time, you do not have to take one.

The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and dry mouth.
