I'm unsure of the absolute maximum dosage, but I believe the normal adult dosage is 50- 100 (mg) which can be taken up to 4 times a day. You should take this medication by mouth with or without food, just follow whatever instructions your doctor has provided.

I'm not sure if you are using the liquid form of this medication, but if so, be sure to carefully measure the dose by using a special measuring device/spoon. Using a household spoon is not recommended because you may not get the correct dose.

The dosage is on a case by case basis and is determined by a number of factors including your age, medical condition, and how well you respond to the treatment.
