Hydromorphone Lab Drug Test

If I took 1 dilaudid 4mg I.v. on a Friday can I pass a lab test that tests for metabolites on Monday? Haven't been using, so my system was clean. 6'1" 180 lbs. And need to know if 72 hours is long enough for that type of urine test.thanks

I know this is a late post but wanted to inform you 72 hours is the usual time frame for opiates to pass out of ur system but with a drug test that's pushing it. Your height/weight give you an advantage assuming that's due to a high metabolism which will allow u to process toxins faster. Best way to pass a drug test is to drink lost of fluids the day of ur test and pee a 3-5 times before ur test. Drink a fluid with color so ur urine isn't clear which will be a red flag. Its pointless to drink alot sooner than a couple hours before ur test because the way drinking alot works is: drug residue attaches to the metabolites in ir kidneys (fat cells). When u drink alot in a shot amount of time it overloads ur kidneys so they can process the fluid intake so it just passes thru them without picking up the intoxicated metabolites. Once u pass that overload of fluids ur kidneys begin to process ur fluid intake again and the intoxicated metabolites will be present. You can drink 2 gallons of water the night before ur test and will test positive because ur kidneys have time to catch up overnight. Thats where most ppl mess up. Again, a high metabolism helps alot (i know because I have one and have passed ua's by doing nothing after taking pain pills 48 hours beforehand) but the colored fluid method has never failed for me or anyone i taught it to. Only downfall is it will make u test negative for meds that should be in ur system so thats something to be prepared to explain to ur dr. But a high metabolism can usually get u by with that one!
