Hydrocodone With Orange Specks
UpdatedI read many articles claiming that the opiate portion of a Vicodin tablet is in the specks. Any truth?

Hello, Demetria! How are you?
No, it is not true. They colored specks are exactly that, just colored specks that the manufacturer used to make their pills look different than all the others on the market. How a tablet looks is entirely up to their whit and whim.
The Medication, however, is dispersed throughout the entire tablet.
The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
