Hydrocodone Watson 10 325
Updatedhydrocodone is all the same. "Vicoprofen" is superior for dental pain

Hi Kim,
I'm not sure what the basis of your post is in so far as saying that "hydrocodone is all the same"? But the idea of adding Ibuprofen to the mix instead of the standard Acetaminophen/Tylenol doesn't seem to measure out a significant difference in my opinion, since they are both NSAID's. Vicoprofen may be good for pain for one person, but not necessarily another since everyone tends to respond differently.
However each drug still comes with an understanding that undesirable and potentially fatal side effects such as liver or kidney damage, stomach bleeding, etc, has been reported to happen. So even if one does yield better results, the risk factors of using either one long term aren't worth it from my perspective.
Furthermore, many cases of dental pain I hear about are often the result of a bacterial infection and/or nerve damage from decay. In cases like these, I would think that a pain killer may be viewed as a secondary option to antibiotics/surgical extraction/root canals; which would target the source of the problem and not just mask it.
Any thoughts on this?
