Based on my research involving drug interactions, I actually wouldn't recommend having Hydrocodone with Xanax. According to the University of Maryland Medical Center, "it may just make you really sleepy" is a large understatement by post #1. Apparently using the two together can also increase your risk of certain side effects including but not limited to slurred speech, confusion, dizziness, slow/shallow breathing, and impaired cognitive function.

Better to play it safe and let your doctor decide what might be best!
