I have a really bad tooth pain is hydrocodone-ibuprofen 7.5 good for the pain my doctor put me on them in the pass but trying to see if they are any good for a really bad tooth pain

Hydrocodone with Ibuprofen is a generic for Vicoprofen, which is a narcotic analgesic, so it can treat various types of pain.

However, you do need to see a dentist, because this medication may relieve pain, but it is not going to resolve the underlying issue that has caused the dental pain, such as an infection due to a deep cary. Which means that the pain will just keep returning, if the problem isn't corrected and any possible infection treated with an antibiotic.

This medication also carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
