Hello, Crissy! How are you?
It doesn't become dangerous, once expired, but liquid medications can turn sour and it may make you nauseous and cause vomiting. It would be best to dispose of the remainder and contact your doctor, if you still need this medication.
The FDA classifies Hydrocodone as a narcotic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nasuea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
Is there anything else I can help with?
