My reuhmatologist does not want to prescribe hydrocodone anymore. I have severe pain from Lupus and arthritis. She has had me on this medication for 12 years. I have never, abused it, Now she decides she is afraid to write it with the new laws. She also treats my son who has fibromyalgia, epilepsy, which he dislocated his shoulder when he fell, during a grand Mal seizure, he has severe migraines and has tried every medication, even Botox, injections, and has discs problems in his neck because of his Down syndrome, which gives him terrible neck pain. After being patients for many years, she started us on their medications, she doesn't want to write them any more.

You and your son need to see a Pain Management Dr. You will also need a copy of your medical records.
