Hydrocodone Apap 5 325 For Knee Pain (Top voted first)

I have been prescribed 5/325 due to a possible meniscus and ACL tear. It is not doing anything for the pain. I was taking Meloxicam which also did not help. I am limited to what I can take due to an inflamed Duodenum. I really have to watch NSAIDS. Any recommendations? Just deal with it till I see ortho?

Have you contacted your doctor?

Since this only contains 325mgs of the Acetaminophen, it may be okay for you to double up on it to get better pain relief, but only your doctor can say whether or not it's safe for you to do so.

However, if they say that it's okay for you to do so, that may cause you to experience more of the side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Hi Verwon. Thanks for your reply. I did put a call in to my doctor but he was out. I go see ortho on Aug. 1. Hopefully they will give me something more effective there. It just HURTS. If torn fix it
