Hydrocodone Apap 10 325 Yellow Color

I have been taking hydrocodone-APAP 10 / 325 as a generic for NORCO 10 325 for chronic pain, but recently my pharmacy changed the generic medication from a white tablet simply marked 'M367' on one side to a yellow tablet marked with a semi cursive 'V' on one side, and the number '36/01' on the other. The yellow tablets do not seem to work as well; as if maybe they are "slow", or "time released". Is this true? Is there a difference in these medications and how they work, or are released into my system?

No, these are both regular release tablets.

However, under the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics can have fluctuations in the amount of the active ingredient, so this one may be a little lower in dosage than the other was, which could explain the problem.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Has anyone else had problems with these tablets from Qualitest?
