I got a bottle of hydrocodone 7.5/325 liquid and I feel like my son may have switched it out for something else. Does anyone know what color it should be?

Is it pastel yellow and smells like bananas or brownish clear yellow?

My daughter has some now cause she had her tonsils removed and this one is a clear yellow color.. Its thick and sticky ..

Sorry to hear about the situation with your son. If you don't mind my asking, what causes you to think that the contents were switched out? Lack of efficacy or...?

From what I can gather, the color of the liquid is reported to be red.

For verification, the inactive ingredients in 'Hycet' (hydrocodone bitartrate 7.5 + acetaminophen 325mg) oral solution include: D & C Red #33 and FD & C Red #40 as coloring.

Please note however that the color and viscosity of the liquid are entirely up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer; and therefore may be subject to change without any prior announcement...
