Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 7 5 325 T/ Verses 5-325 Tb

I recently was on 7.5 325 T and doc just switched me to 5-325-TB. What is the difference between the two? As in what amount of aspirin/Tylenol, does the amount in prescription strength, above mean? Like 7.5 to the 5, & the amount that didn't change 325? I have severe lower back pain, after standing or walking for several hours, as well as after strenuous work around the house, bending stooping, etc., & an MRI showed spinal stenosis. As well as the knee pain, I've had for years! So switching down in meds, as the doc prescribed, may not work. That's why I was wanting to know what the difference in the two meds are? The first contained 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone with 325mgs of Acetaminophen, the new one contains 5mgs of Hydrocodone with the 325mgs of Acetaminophen.

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Your doctor lowered the dose the narcotic analgesic.
