i do not get relief from this pain medicine, what is the deal

Hi baby,

Unfortunately when it comes to choosing an appropriate pain medication, there's a lot of room for trial and error. If your body is accustomed to another manufacturer's versions of this, then its ineffectiveness may be attributed to the different binders/fillers that are being used in this particular tablet versus others. That's my theory anyways, given that nothing else is changed on the label when you switch between different manufacturer's brands/generics.

The only thing I'd encourage patients to do in light of this, is to kindly ask the doctor to be more descriptive on the prescription he/she writes, in order to pick out a specific manufacturer that you feel works best from past personal experience.
