Hydrocodone Acetaminophen 10 325 Dosage

I am recovering from back surgery and have the generic Norco 10-325. They have not been effective in the dosage of 1 every 6 hours. My problem is at night when the dull ache keeps me from sleeping. What is the effect of taking2 at night before I go to sleep

You shouldn't raise your dosage, without your medical provider's approval. If you aren't opiate tolerant, that may be too high of a dosage for you. Have you informed them of the problem, yet?

The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
