Yes, it was mandated that the amount of Acetaminophen in combination prescription medications be lowered to no more than 325mgs per dose, the FDA put this regulation in place a few years ago.
But with just the 300mgs, the only one currently listed as still being available is 10/300mg. However, there is a 7.5/325mg dosage available.
I had that happen a couple months ago, when my doctor prescribed it. I had to wait for the pharmacy to reach her and authorize the 325mg dosage, before I could pick up my prescription.
This medication is classified as a narcotic analgesic, so it carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation.
