Hydrocodone 50 Mg Capsule?

What pill is this small red capsule with a white powdery substance in it? I was told it's hydrocodone 50 mgs.

I have to say that I find it very doubtful. The only 50mg dosage available of Hydrocodone is a time released version that is sold under the brand name Zohydro... and under current FDA laws, unique imprints on such manufactured tablets and capsules are required, in order to enable their identification, in case of emergency.

Are there any markings on this capsule? If so, please post back and clarify, so I can research further for you.

Thus, while there is a small chance that it could be a foreign medication, since other countries are not obligated to abide by U.S. laws, it is much more likely that it is just some type of over the counter product and should be handled via proper disposal methods.

I can also tell you that according to current databases, the 50mg capsules are all brown and have very obvious markings on them....and due to the dosage, they aren't actually small.
