Hydrocodone 5 325 For Back Pain During Mri

I couldn't take my back discomfort while trying to have an MRI. My doctor prescribed this for me to take during my next appointment. My concern is that the med will take the discomfort away for the duration of the MRI which is 45 minutes and can't be stopped. Would I dare take 2?

You should not take more than your doctor has instructed, one tablet should last about 4 to 6 hours for most people.

The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation.

Are you on any other medications? Sometimes a sedative also helps with such problems.
