Hydrocodone 2172 (Page 3) (Top voted first)

Updated

Hey, i got these pills today from walgreens and i have taken 3 so far and still no affect on my pain. Has anyone else had this same problem because idk of they took most of the hydro out of these new pills but there's definitely something wrong. I will not be getting these from my Dr again.

I have a script from my doc for hydro 5/325
When I filled it at Walgreens I had an in depth conversation with pharmacist about different generics. She showed me the bottle and Actavis bought Watson or merged because on the big bottle of 500 was the logo and name Watson

Yep, Same story with me. I have found the Qualitest Brand at CVS to be pretty comparable to the Watson that is no longer made. The Qualitest are white with red speckles marked 3604 on the front & V on the back.

Jan, it is Very Easy To OverDose On Tylenol. You should not take more than 650 mg Tylenol every 4-6 hours Or No More Than 1,000 Every 6 hours, NOT TO EXCEED 4,000 mg Tylenol in a 24 Hours period.. Too much Tylenol and drinking alcohol while taking Tylenol can result in severe liver damage. When someone overdoses on Tylenol, it usually takes time for them to realize something is wrong. By then, they may have forgotten about when they took too much Tylenol or drank alcohol when they were tsking Tylenol. Which means it can take longer for to be correctly diagnoised.

Put, Tylenol Overdose FDA, in Google.

Unless you're buying them from Walgreens....they say that their policy is 30 days but it's REALLY not. For instance: Dr writes prescription on the 1st & you fill it on the 1st and begin taking them (just as the Dr ordered) BUT Walgreens doesn't count the first.... Instead they count to 30 from the 2nd. Really puts a lot of ppl in early stage withdrawal, especially if they're on a suboxone or methadone regimen. I've argued till I'm blue in the face with ours and they tell me it's that particular store's policy, so I went to the next town overs Walgreens and they filled it correctly! This just isn't right!!!

I also filed a complaint with the FDA about Actavis don't know if it did any good I don't see anything about them being investigated. I filed about a year ago.

It's dangerous to take too many, I refilled my script at Fred Meyer, after calling. It works. I have a problem with sumatriptan also. Now I check manufacturer before picking up meds. Generic is NOT the same, we are forced by insurance to use them, but they can vary .5 +- from original. Google generic. Good luck finding help, I use ice alot, before I figured this out.

Re: Hermoni1 (# 80) Expand Referenced Message

It would be nice if you could get somewhere with Walgreens about their Hydro pills but I have complained about them and they say they don't have any complaints; yet everyone who gets their pills from Walgreens has a complaint. They are not made by Watson anymore. Watson sold out to Actavis and all their pills are crap. They don't work.

Yes it's best to research the manufacturer who makes the pill. I've had the same problem several times in the past, 5 years ago 2 Percocet 10mgs would knock me on the floor now it's not even worth taking. Even the oxycodone 10 mgs I'm taking now are worthless. Changing you diet and researching alternative ways of dealing with pain has seemed to help me, natural herbs such as turmeric, Devils claw seems to work well. Find out what manufacturer medicine your getting should say on the label do some homework you will be surprised what you'll find. The good ole FDA does not have your best interest in mind. Good luck!!

Re: MIKE (# 79) Expand Referenced Message

I can 100% understand. You've had a Stroke, I have an inoperable Cerebral Aneurysm. NOW, The pain mgmt is for Neuropathy in my thighs caused by crushed vertebrae. However, pain mgmt is urgent in controlling our blood pressure. An increase in BP could bring on a Rupture for me or Stroke for you. I went from Tylenol Codeine 5/500 8 per day to 5/325 4 per day over 5 years. When Watson was merged into another Corp. the (recipe) changed. It took me showing my Doctor of 20 years this site and everyone's comments. He switched me to Oxycodone/Acetaminophen 5/325 3@day.

He had switched my # from 4 to 3 per day because it's much stronger. Anything would be since Watson sold out. This scared me, I started by halving them. First 1/2 I was loopy. 4,5,6 hrs I'd take the other 1/2. Now I'm @ 2 1/2 .

Mike I've never written anyone here before, your Stroke hit home for me. I'm certain our symptoms are different, however, Pain Management is so technical. I rather think our bodies are like fine tuned race cars, or a watch. Everything has to be in sync and if we're out of balance (Everything Hurts).

I'm Blessed with a doctor whom I have to trust with my life. And he has my obedience card up his sleeve. I'm concerned ur doc just cut your meds in half, I wish you could have a serious talk with your doc. They are so concerned now they have become monitors for the DEA.

They make med very edgy. They don't kill pain. Are these a joke from our government or what?

I take Norco 10/325 that say Watson 853 on it but Watson is no longer it is Actavis and if you get them at Walgreens this is who they get them from they do not work my dr. even prescribed Morphine Sulf ER 30 mg which Actavic also supplies it to Walgreens and that does not work either I feel like I am taking nothing I am thinking on switching to a different Pharmacy and see how others work if from a different manufacture. So all I can say is try switching to a different Pharmacy to get your pain meds and ask who they get them from

I too have had little to no pain relief from the Actavis hydrocodone 10/325. I have severe osteoarthritis in just about every joint in my body. It should be against the law for this company to sell this and other medications.

What pharmacy did you use to get Vicodin from the mfr. Abbott? My local chain pharmacy claims they cannot order it. Also, it would be very helpful if I could find out the name of the insurance carrier you use, because my prescription for Vicodin was rejected by the insurance company as well. Any ideas?
