Hey, i got these pills today from walgreens and i have taken 3 so far and still no affect on my pain. Has anyone else had this same problem because idk of they took most of the hydro out of these new pills but there's definitely something wrong. I will not be getting these from my Dr again.
What about Walmart or Sam's Club? Any better than Walgreen's as I'm having the same problem with the 10/325s. Last month I took 3 and still no relief. I don't have insurance so basically I'm flushing $$$ down the toilet each month.
I have put in complaints to the FDA about activis and how the pills do not work its like taking an aspirin it seems like all pills coming from Activis do not work my doctor had prescribed Kadian which is morphine well the manufacture was Activis and they didn't help at all so he switched me to tablets 30 MG which is from a different manufacture and they help I take also the Norco 10/325 mg which I get from walgreens and the manufacture is Activis and they do not work if taken alone these are suppose to be a break through pill I have to take 2 with the morphine to help try a different pharmacy and see who they get them from a lot of ppl have complained about Walgreens it seems like they don't want to change who they get them from
Yes. No effect whatsoever . I was thinking they switched pills on me, but the imprint number does match up. I still have all the pain and am not even sleepy.
Where do we complain?
Yes I am having the exact same issue from the same store
I have a script from my doc for hydro 5/325
When I filled it at Walgreens I had an in depth conversation with pharmacist about different generics. She showed me the bottle and Actavis bought Watson or merged because on the big bottle of 500 was the logo and name Watson
This pill is not worth a penny what is this I go to Walgreen in mayfield sometimes it is good and some time it is not but today you can bet I will not be going back because my pain is not good at all what must I do because they will not tack back I know I should have went to my store will not be going back
Walgreens narco I can take 4 and it's like aspirin. Not helping then if u tell dr. They think u want to b a pill popper, I just want to sleep occasionally, without pain. Before on viccodine regular medication I would b knocked out on a half of a pill.
Just to let y'all know what I was told about the red/orange specks --- it's caffeine, so maybe that could cause the sluggishness in ppl who've been on them awhile. As far as the pill itself relieving serious pain, that is a JOKE and Walgreens will lie to your face regarding any opiates due to legal suits against them. Once upon a time the only pharmacy I trusted was Walgreens but NEVER again. I wish all of us that are in chronic pain will have a solution soon. And if your doctor suggests that you switch to suboxone for the pain... Run like hell and find a new doctor because it is poison that WILL absolutely ruin your life, body, and soul.
I too feel as though the pills are not working from the manufacturer ACTAVIS and that is where Walgreens gets them from. I finally put in a complaint to the FDA for them to check into this. If more people complain to the FDA about this maybe something will be done. You can put in a complaint online or call them. The phone # is 1-888-463-6332.
I too along with my wife were given these 2172 hydracodone replacement s and she now gets headaches shortly after taking a prescribed dose and I feel as if I had taken nothing at all to help my pain a B. C powder gives more pain relief
Walgreens veer away from them
Go to CVS instead.. it's a shame what I have an all of us are going through with Walgreens
Agree it happened to me this week and
Now my doctor has to re write script with an afadavid by me noterized ! I have to go to Walgreens as of Jan 1 and I need to know exactly what their brand and generics are before this is written Tuesday . I'm petrified the 2172 do not work . Advantis is horrible and cvs uses qualitest and they are the best .
I had to type out an affidavit and have it notarized Tuesday for my pain management doctor in order for him to re write.... problem
Is my insurance is leaving CVS and moving to Walgreens where the problem originated with the 2172 white flat pill! I need to find out who their manufacturers ALL are before he writes this script Tuesday and this sucks we have to do this. I have to pay a notary all bc Walgreens manufacturer changed. I reported to the FDA and Walgreens Consumer Relations Dept.... Its not my doctors fault. Ugh, I'm so angry and wish I could stay with CVS and get the pill 3604 with the speckles In it and they use Qualitest manufacturer by the way.
I have to go to Walgreens as of the first what do I ask my doctor to write now ? Name brand vs generic ?
I've spent most of the day researching the same med. I have taken the Watson 3202 longer than I can remember. All of a sudden I was dispensed a plain white rather than speckled tablet with 2172 imprinted on one side. Same story from behind the counter. They changed the formulary but it's the same dosage. When I pushed the issue she got huffy with me. The regular Pharmacist was on vacation. I wouldn't take the meds home. They certainly knew better and told me "you can't just stop taking your medication".
On the Watson 3202 (Speckled) there have been 2 occasions I couldn't remember if I had taken my morning pill. Having taken another dose I certainly knew that I had. (already taken my pill) My Head Was Spinning.
It seems alot of these messages have the same issue. You might as well have taken a vitamin tablet. I'm taking this on as a challenge.
It's so unlike me to argue like this, but, too many of us have Chronic Pain Issues. I personally am in just to much pain to now be pushed around.
STAY away from the "big box" stores for your medications. They seem to get the bottom of the barrel. Go somewhere else.
The pharmacy told me they were the same ugh no they are not at all
No I agree it happened to me this week.... and got the 2127 or 2172 whatever one it is and it's not the same as the the 3604 the ones with the pink dots on them .
What pharmacy did you use to get Vicodin from the mfr. Abbott? My local chain pharmacy claims they cannot order it. Also, it would be very helpful if I could find out the name of the insurance carrier you use, because my prescription for Vicodin was rejected by the insurance company as well. Any ideas?
