Hydrocodone 10 325 Unable To Fill

I am in Houston & have terminal disease and been on hydrocodone 10-325 & fentanyl patch for years. Picked up prescriptions today and Walgreens filled fentanyl patch but says No one has hydrocodone? Said it was manufacture? They gave me no options, tried a private pharmacy and got no where. Is there anything anybody knows

Sorry to hear about your situation. It seems as though many chronic pain patients are facing a similar dilemma at this point in time (given the recent state of opioid madness going on throughout the country). I do find it extremely unusual however that pharmacies don't have something as "light" as hydrocodone in stock at any given time. Shortage problems like this appear to be out of the doctor's control who wrote the prescription for you, but as a last resort option, perhaps they can write you a different prescription altogether in hopes that something else will be available.

Thanks, my doctor is going to write the 5/325. I called Walgreens later & spoke to my regular pharmacist who was much more helpful. No one there earlier offered me options. I take 10/325 & am going to have to get 5/325. Of course that means way too much acetaminophen & I am still waiting for the re written script. Then have to drive back and get it. All because of Pill Mills , they are really hurting those who are really I'll. Appreciate your reply, was afraid something happened 1st of year? Guess it is just supply and demand.

I had a prescription filled at walgreen's on the 26th of Dec for Hydro 10/325 and I noticed the manufacturer use to be Watson but it was Actavis who took over Watson well I noticed they changed manufacture again it was amneal and they also are crap

Same in Georgia. Walgreens doesn't contract with Watson any longer,Google Watson pharmacutical,call them! Also try an independent pharmacy!!
