Hydrocodone 10/325 And 800 Mg Ibuprofen

can I safely take hydrocodone 10 325 with 800 mg ibuprofen-I've been on hydro for years and I'm ha ving alot of pain now

Yes you can take both. Ibuprofen is for inflammation. If taking it helps, you need to tell your dr.

Hi Willy,

Sorry to hear about the extent of your pain. From what I've found they actually do make a combination of Hydrocodone + Ibuprofen under the following brand names: Vicoprofen, Reprexain, and Ibudone.

Perhaps you could ask your doctor about trying one of these as an alternative to the 325mgs of Acetaminophen, if you have any concerns about it's potential cumulative effects on liver health with long term use?

Overcoming the pain is what matters, but I just try to encourage the safest methods possible if it can be helped. None the less, I hope you make a full recovery from whatever it is that's causing this!

Finally getting relief with Naproxen 500mg and Vicodin 5/325. I have horrible TMJ pain and was getting no relief from either. But when taking them at the same time, it finally worked! Hoping my TMJ calms down soon. It's so horrible. :(

Hi Sandy--Try natural methods daily like- Yawning, massaging the massiter muscle (below your cheek bone). doing little isometric exercises by pushing and resisting your jaw up, down, right and then left--hold for 9 seconds each time.
