APAP is medical speak for Acetaminophen and the other active ingredient is Hydrocodone, so no, it does not contain Codeine. It is, however, a narcotic pain reliever, generic for Vicodin.
Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
