Possible Side Effects While Using Hydrochlorothiazide:

Allergic reaction: Itching or hives, swelling in face or hands, swelling or tingling in the mouth or throat, tightness in chest, trouble breathing
Blood in urine or stools
Confusion, weakness, irregular heartbeat, shortness of breath, numbness or tingling in hands, feet, or lips
Dry mouth, increased thirst, muscle cramps, nausea or vomiting
Fever chills, cough, hoarseness
Problems urinating, pain in side or lower back
Skin rash or itching
Unusual bleeding or bruising
Yellow eyes or skin

I have been taking the 25 mg peach colored pill for 6 months, and have not had any side effects, other than some minor tingling in my hands.

my blood pressure was running a little high, especially in the doctors office, doc prescribed hydrochloric 25 mg. right away my heart rate went up 190 only in the evening , then started going back down. It did lower my blood pressure by a bunch, still running a lot lower. I have also noticed a raise in my blood sugar, don't know if there is any connection .
