Hydralazine From Different Manufacturers
UpdatedIs it possible to have side effects from hydralazine from one manufacturer and not from another? Within a couple of hours, I felt dizzy and nauseous after taking the same dose (100 mg), but different manufacturers of hydralazine!

Yes, under the Hatch Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient. They also do not have to measure against each other, just the name brand. Thus, it is possible to receive another generic that is higher, or lower in the active ingredient than a different one you were taking, which could cause you to experience withdrawal symptoms, or new side effects.
What are the markings on the new one that you've received? Can you please post back with these details? That would enable me to research it more for you. Thank you!
