Hello, Steve! How are you?
No, it is the same as what is given to dogs. However, you do need to be careful of the dosage, so consulting his vet would be best.
Side effects may include nausea, skin rash and diarrhea.
Is there anything else I can help with?
My dog his right eye has been hurted I think someone has kicked him and he have pain. I dont know his weight but he's 3 1/2 years old can I give him humans amoxiline 500 mg ?
You have to consult a vet to know how much to give your dog with its weight.. And if it's been hit in the eye then you should see a vet because the retina may be damaged and in some cases the eye may have to be removed... It happened to my dog last year.. please seek out advice from a vet, you can call a vet they will offer there help to you if you tell them your situation.... GOD BLESS
Yeah u'r right ! I think I should show him. Tnx alot
My dog is nat eating anykind of food even he's running out when he see food what shall I do help me please my dog is gonna die....
Yonathan,. It could be anything, you need to get your dog to a vet that's the only way to know what's causing your dog not to eat. It could have eaten a toy or fibers, or it could have an infection of some kind. Only a vet can help your pet.. I had to take my pet to the vet last month because of a UTI she had a fever and had stopped eating and drinking. After 24 hours of not eating or drinking your pet will get dehydrated and that can cause death.. if you are not able to get it to a vet then try to get some help from a local shelter they may be able to refer you to a vet that works with families with low income if you are having financial problems. Try and get a syringe and force water into the mouth of your pet that may help with dehydration... My prayers go out to you and your pet...
I have a 70 pound aussie and I think he has an ear infection or ear mites. I can't afford a vet trip till my next payday. I have some amox-clav 875-125mg from a doctor visit that my husband had. Can I give this to him, and if so, how much?
Re: Missy (# 7)
Hello Missy. Yes you can give it to a dog. I am unsure of the weight to amounts for dog consumption, but I have seen a post on pinterest before that will give you the correct dosage. I will go and see if I saved that post. I will come back and send you another message if I saved it...
