Is this medicine good for a cough,congestion and fever?

Hi Michelle, ampicillin is an antibiotic used 4 infections. Usually, if u have a fever, u have an infection going on. Did the Dr give it 2 u 4 your symptoms? If so, then, u r all set. Hope u feel better.

If you just have a cold, then an antibiotic won't help, because it only treats bacterial infections and a cold is a viral infection.

I have my root canal missing except the inner wall of that tooth it's right now so swollen . It's hurting ever since earlier when I was cleaning it a piece of my gum size of a crumb came out . I been washing it with peroxide n mouth wash as well as taking mexapin n this morning I took Teva 3147 n a white pill R 551
. Any suggestions and/or things I should or shouldn't do
