i just started 2nd pack of tri-sprintec. (different color every week)
after 2 weeks, my white placebo pills will start on Wednesday.
also my trip for 6days will start at same day :(
i just want to delay withdrawal bleeding for just A WEEK.

so i decided skip my last week, placebo pills and just take a 3rd week of new pack & placebo pills from new pack.
and start totally new pack from day 1 after that.

do you guys think is this work for me? without spotting or withdrawal bleeding that vacation week?
i also understand i might have bleeding and spotting during new pack.
will i safe on vacation week? or should i bring the menstrual cup and pads? :(

any reply will help me. thank you

Hi Erin,

While I do know that it is possible to alter the timing of your period using hormonal contraceptives, I would encourage you to ask your doctor for specific & proper details on how it's done. Reason being is that every type of birth control pill may have its own unique methods for doing so. I also don't know what impact it may have on your health, considering that our hormones are very sensitive to even the most minute of changes. Aside from trying to delay your period, another alternative is to find ways to manage it more efficiently when you do have it. There are a variety of supplements you could try taking to alleviate pain and discomfort; not to mention there's now protective disposable underwear for added peace of mind. Just wanted to throw that out there in case you're not able to see a doctor or gynecologist before you leave.

Hope this helps!
