How Strong Is A 30mg Morphine Weighting 400lbs

The doctor said that 30mg of morphine is enough to take care of my pain in my left leg amputated above the knee, is enough for my pain ????

Hi Ken, weight and individual metabolism play a significant role in the amount of medicine needed. Your doctor will start with the lowest dose he feels should work, then should reaccess your pain levels and go up or down based on your individual response.
