How Soon Can I Take My Second Pill?

I was prescribed 2 150 mg fluconazole. I was directed to take the first pill immediately and the second pill in 3 days. I plan to have sexual intercourse in two days however. If I take the pill tomorrow or a day early, what will happen?

I asked my doctor the same question as yours. She told me to finish taking the med before having sex or else my partner will also be infected.
