How many have been prescribed each day? You should make certain that you don't exceed that amount. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.
There is no set amount that you can take, before it may affect the kidneys, liver, or other organs. That can vary from person to person and depends on your overall health, pre-existing renal issues and etc.
