Tylenol 3 actually contains 300mgs of Acetaminophen and 30mgs of Codeine. The FDA lists this as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

Thus, you really can't compare it to regular over the counter Tylenol, that only contains Acetaminophen.
