How Long To Detox After 35yrs Of Taking 10mg Lortab

A friend is having severe, mind altering withdrawals from stopping Lortab 10 cold turkey. How long before he will be back to normal?

Wow! He went cold turkey after 35 years of use? He's really lucky that the withdrawals didn't put his life in danger. Even if he wasn't abusing it, it would have been best and safest to taper off of them very slowly.

And it could take a couple months, before he's feeling normal, again. I stopped pain management medications cold turkey after taking them for about 6 or 7 years and it took a month for me to start feeling normal and not miserable.

Has he consulted his doctor for assistance?
